La ruta atraviesa numerosas montañas ubicadas en la margen izquierda del Vinalopó, por pasos estratégicos y zonas con el sendero como leit motiv. Requiere fondo físico y nivel técnico para abordar los pasos más técnicos. Una ruta con mucho recorrido visual, un elevado porcentaje de senderos ciclables, y bajadas variadas. ¡El mountain bike de siempre!

Existencia de parking. Todos los servicios necesarios los encontrarán en la vecina ciudad de Novelda.
No hay puntos de agua en toda la ruta. Especialmente en verano, hay que proveerse de ella. En esta época conviene madrugar, o aprovechar el final de la tarde. No realizar la ruta en caso de alerta por preemergencia o emergencia por lluvias.

We left from the outskirts of Novelda, and after a few kilometers of transition between fields and orchards, we headed for the Montagut first, and the mountains of Les Penyes and Els Xurros later. After a short descent, we will connect with the Barranc dels Bellots to the urbanization of Lloma Badà. From this, we will enter for paths up and down in the middle of the pine forest that characterizes the slope SW of the Sit.

We leave the variant of this route that descends by the Barranc dels Bellots, and we go towards the Coll del Plà Cafeu, where we take a descent, with a first steep stretch and with some rocky steps and terrain in general, complicated. Later, we entered the succession of hills of this slope of the Sit, by path by trail with technical and other faster sections. Later, through the path that runs over the Canal dels Belgues, and with some other path, we head for an area of gully embedded and very fast, with just the slope to give good to the pedals, until we reach the birth of Salinetes. After connecting trails, we will get into the arid environment of the path of the Kalifa, and the paths of the Alt dels Catalans. So far, it will have been more than 11 kilometers of varied descent, interspersed with some slope, and a variety of spectacular atmosphere.

The route ends by connecting kilometers of fast trails along the Vinalopó River, until entering the town of Novelda.

Las aguas saladas de Salinetes, resultan muy beneficiosas para la salud de articulaciones y dolencias físicas. El aprovechamiento agrícola del valle del Vinalopó, se manifiesta a lo largo de toda la ruta a través de sus abancalamientos de secano y sus cultivos de regadío. La ruta pasa por vías pecuarias que favorecían el tránsito del ganado.
