Overview

The intermediate Klondike Loop travels over all different styles of trail including benchcut singletrack, rock-armored tread, and painted slickrock. Once on the ridgeline of Klondike, views of Arches National Park and the Bookcliffs appear in the distance adding to this fun mountain bike route.

Description

From the North Klondike Bluffs parking lot, riders will traverse the lower end of the uplift along Dino-Flow to access the main climbing trail, Mega Steps. This direct and sometimes steep trail climbs mostly on slickrock and bench cut singletrack to meet up with Alaska at the top of the ridgeline. Alaska will take you in and out of boulder fields, down short fun descents and punchy climbs before topping out near the northernmost end of Klondike Bluffs. From there, Alaska is mostly a descent down fun slickrock and sharp turns all while providing a stellar Moab desert view. Once you intersect with Homer, take this twisty singletrack back to the parking lot finishing off this fantastic loop.
