Overview
A very scenic and varied ride which I would very strongly suggest when staying in the region looking for scenic trails!

Take your own food and drinks with you - no restaurants along the tour!
Description
Casto Canyon Trail #33089 to
Losee Canyon Trail #33090 is a little bit like a figure-8. There is a similar loop with the ascent on
Losee Canyon Trail #33090 and the "downhill" on
Casto Canyon Trail #33089 but to me that makes no sense, because Losee is a very flowy trail that is better downhill than climbing, and Casto is also used by ATVs (it's not singletrack - so the first 9 km are dirt road and gravel - when leaving Casto Canyon you'll ride singletrack only) and therefore best for a very moderate ascent.
I have also included parts of
Cassidy Trail #33093 and
Rich Trail #33092 the figure-8 to get as many possible views from the different landscapes and viewpoints of that magnificent Canyon. During the whole ride (done on April 28, 2018) we met 1 cyclist and 1 hiker with a dog - that was it! The distance was around 31.7 km with a riding time of 3 hours 46 minutes. Due to lots of photos stops it was a "full day" ride. I would rate it intermediate with two short sections of difficult/advanced.
History & Background
On my first visit to Bryce Canyon 7 years ago, we took a little break at the road entrance of Red Canyon - it was fascinating and much more quiet than Bryce. On my journey in 2018, I decided to look for MTB trails in that region and found some trail descriptions online but I built my own ride and wanted to share it!
