(To reviewers: this trail does not connect the two parking lots - it only extends west from the westernmost parking lot.)

This segment of the Woman Creek Loop connects the Woman Creek Loop parking area to the West Woman Creek Trail at the Refuge fence line.

Starting from the Woman Creek Loop parking area, enter the portal and immediately turn left up a short punchy hill that brings you to a flat cinder doubletrack section of the Woman Creek Loop.

Continue west on the doubletrack until it terminates at the fence line. Riders can then turn north on the West Woman Creek Trail to access the Rocky Mountain Greenway Trail. This area is covered with native Xeric Tallgrass.
