Starting from the Rifugio Firenze, this trail shares the route with Rifugio Firenze - Trans Tirol (1) for about half its length along the main gravel road between the valley and the Rifugio. After about 1.6 km (1 mi), you'll reach the small Lech de Ciaulonch (extra credit if you can pronounce it).

Here, a singletrack veers to the left. At first, it is relatively flat, but after you reach yet another mountain hut (Rifugio Juac), you've got a steep singletrack descent with sweeping turns down to Lech de Schutz. Shortly thereafter, you reach the road network for the town of Wolkenstein.
