This trail makes a fast drop into the gorge with a short, lung-busting climb out.

Description

This can be ridden in either direction, but my favorite is off of Points Unknown and down to the southeast. You drop fast then bottom out and have to grind out a short but steep climb with a little technical section. After grinding through the black diamond rock garden at the top of the trail system, expect one last hard push before you end your ride. This can be bypassed by riding the easier Upper Copperhead.

20mph is about 3mph too slow to clear this jump smoothly, but you are flying off that jump either way! https://youtu.be/_hnTakiDoHM
