Description

This trail is the newest addition to the Sugar Creek Greenway, which is part of the Cross Charlotte Trail (XCLT). Once completed, the Cross Charlotte Trail will connect from the South Carolina border all the way to UNCC for a total of around 30 miles.

As of the start of 2018, the Sugar Creek Greenway stretches from Cordelia Park in NoDa to Park Road Shopping Center on Brandywine Rd. This section of trail allows access to Marion Diehl, BYT Tech Loop, BYT Middle Third and Park Road Park Loop without having to cross Tyvola Road, which can be quite dangerous at peak traffic hours.
