Description

This route takes one on a ride around all 9.5 miles of George Poston Park's main trail system. Behind the gate between the restroom and map kiosk is the entrance to the trail system. Just go around the gate and take a right. Follow the colored blazes and the directional arrows of each loop, taking a left at each intersection.

You'll ride half of each loop all the way to Spencer Mountain Loop, then ride the other half of each loop on the way back to the parking area. The trails in the order they will connect: Lake Loop, blazed orange; Laurel Hill Loop, blazed pink; Foundation Loop, no blaze as of this description, but should be green; Big Leaf Loop, red blaze; Soccer Loop, blue blaze; and Spencer Mountain Loop, yellow blaze. Blaze colors will be in the reverse order on the way back from Spencer Mountain Loop.

Soccer Loop may be confusing after passing by the dog park. Just stay right of the brick building and the trail will be visible to the right of the big white electrical transformer cover. Spencer Mountain Loop has several EXPERT b-lines. Pay close attention as some of these are gap jumps and are not roll-able.
