Description

Park Road Park now starts off of the Sugar Creek Greenway and is able to link to Middle Third, Farmbrook Loop, Tech Loop and Marion Diehl. This trail has undergone a few changes due to the greenway construction but is mostly the same as it was when it was first built. Many of the wooden TTFs have been removed due to the disrepair of the wooden structures.

As mapped, the trail starts on a fairly steep hill. The trail mostly climbs, with the exception of one short bermed downhill section. As you make your way to the northeasternmost point of the trail where it doubles back you are rewarded with a short, speedy downhill run with a few small jumps on the way back to the parking lot.

Once you reach the clearing, stay to the right and the second section of the trail begins on the left just before returning to the Sugar Creek Greenway. This part of the trail runs parallel with the Little Sugar Creek and is quite scenic. The trail is short but filled with many technical options including rock gardens, a really nice creek crossing, highlighted by a fairly difficult tree skinny.

This trail opened in late 2013.

This trail has received some TLC this year, it's sort of 'BYT Lite', a fun trail with less of the demanding technical aspects of BYT.
