This trail crosses private property and any improvements to this trail will require a permit from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to ensure that there are no impacts to known endangered species in the area. Please contact the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the San Gabriel Mountains Regional Conservancy (SGMRC) prior to proceeding.

Description

Pick up where the Colby Trail ends and use this trail to get up to Glendora Ridge Motorway. It's a steep singletrack that might require you to hike-a-bike a few yards at the start if your granny gear isn't doing the job. At the top of Upper Colby there's a nice view and you can either head west to Azusa Peak or go east and head down Glendora Mountain Road. Watch out for loose dirt on your climbs.

There isn't much shade on this trail, so bring lots of water. Especially if you're coming from Colby Trail.
