Portions of the Mt. Laguna trail network fall within USFS jurisdiction and may require an Adventure Pass. See the USFS-Cleveland National Forest for further information.
This trail is most often ridden as a northward descent from the trailhead. In that direction, it had some great flow and several fun log-ride options to keep rider entertained. In less than a mile, the trail ends at the Escondido Ravine Road.
When riding in the reverse, you'll get a challenging 10% grade ascent out of the ravine until you reach the ridgeline, at which point you'll encounter mild flow back to the trailhead.
