Dry - Keep your speed in check. There is a fine layer of dust on top of very hard dirt. Easy to lose traction and go down. My blood is still on the trail. History

Description [Suggest Changes]

This wide, graded fire road climbs the main ridge of the Verdugo Mountains from the west, ending at a T-intersection with the Stough Canyon Fire Road and the western end of the Verdugo Motorway. Compared to many of the other access roads in this trail network, Chandler feels more isolated from the city and offers lovely views down into La Tuna Canyon to the north.
