Description

The Midland Trail is the longest of the singletrack loops at Eleven Mile State Park. Access to this trail is via the Aspen Loop Trail or the Ponderosa Loop Trail.

The trail loops around the wetland next to the reservoir and heads east toward several hills. After a short climb of 0.7 mi, the trail turns south for a flowing descent through the pines next to a mountain meadow. Beautiful views of the reservoir and hills can be seen from here.

At mile 1.7, the trail turns back west and runs along the rocky shoreline. It intersects the Black Bear Trail at mile 2.2 and 2.5. The trail then descents and meets back with the Ponderosa Loop Trail.
