Description

The view from the top of this trail is spectacular. It can be accessed using the Matterhorn Express lift via the Skiweg trail. This gravel ski road starts at the Furggsattelexpress lift and stops at the middle station for the Matterhorn Express lift.

This is a steep descent so make sure your brakes are in good working order and be prepared for loose gravel. In theory, there is nothing but gravity to stop you from riding up the route, but there are easier routes to the top (see the Schwarzsee Loop featured ride or Zermatt to Schwarzsee trail.)

Big chunky rocks, not gravel. Hard to get any flow and speed since a mistake means getting bucked into rocks. Fun once, next I'll take the other way
