Description

Rolling Ridge is kind of like the main backbone of Bauxite in that all other trails branch off of it. If you want to ride the entire trail system, it's impossible to not ride and even repeat some sections of Rolling Ridge.

It's a trail suited for beginners and it's a nice break after a climb in using the Forest Lane Trail. The trail is hard packed with some loose areas and there are several blind curves with "CALL OUT" signs posted. The signs are there for a reason, and I never fail to call out as I've had a couple of face-to-face high speed encounters with riders that were not paying attention, nor calling out.

Tree blocking trail just before you get to MurkyMarsh trailhead. Need to carry your bike over it but it is easy. Dry and dusty, great place to ride.
