Description

From Hwy 67, this trail leads up to Horsethief Valley, Horsethief Falls, and connects to the Pancake Rocks Trail and Putney Gulch (RTP Connector). The parking lot fills up early, so be sure to arrive early to get a spot in the lot.

The first 0.3 miles is quite steep, but over quickly and from there the trail levels out to a very easy grade. At mile 0.75, the turnoff towards Pancake Rocks Trail and a connector to Horsethief Falls is on the eastern side.

At mile 1.6, the grade increases as it passes through Horsethief Valley. At mile 2.5, it connects with the Putney Gulch (RTP Connector).

The trail then continues upward with a moderate grade for another half mile before coming to an end.
