Description

West Canyon isn't particularly exciting to ride. It bends around a few utility poles and traverses a meadow alongside Highway 133. I imagine during the wintertime it may be scenic, with nice views of the mountains and green meadows.

It's best used as a connector from the Irvine neighborhood trails to the Nix Nature Center at LCWP. Using West Canyon via Stagecoach South Trail to reach the coastal parts of LCWP may be a bit of an easier ride versus taking Serrano Ridge Trail (but not by a whole lot).
