Family Friendly The trail is wide without any technical roots or stones. Small bit off the trail at mile 3 gives lake access for dogs.

Description

This trail is a new addition to the trails in the area and has excellent flow. There are beautiful views of the lake along the way with two benches that provide a nice spot to take a break with a view of the lake. There is one stream crossing. This trail is part of 2016 MoCoEpic 70mi trail.

The north end of trail connects with Osprey Heights Loop and this loop connects with Cool Springs Trail. The Cool Springs Trail is harder though and less family-friendly (stream crossings and steep sections). For a family route, it is best to ride it as an out-and-back.

Via connecting trails, it is possible to reach Ten Mile Creek Rd and even Clarsburg Rd. (more north; near intersection with Chrisman Hill Dr).
