Overview

The loop ride begins and ends at the Howard County Living Farm Heritage Museum and traverses the Pfefferkorn Natural Environmental Area adjacent to the Middle Patuxent River headwaters.

Description

This is a relatively easy loop that begins on some singletrack on a Woodland Trail along the edge of a field for a half mile before you run down through the woods for a mile or so. You come back out of the woods at another portion of the Living Farm Heritage Museum then head down a paved path for a half mile before you hit a grassy path on the Mowed Trail that winds around all the farm fields of the park before ending back on a hardball road back to the start/finish.
