Description

Compared to the Novitiate Trail/ Range Trail on the north side of St. Joseph's Hill, this is the easier way up. It winds around through the brush with great views of the reservoir and surrounding hills. The grade is mostly mild with a bit of a grunt up the final hill. Terrain ranges from packed dirt to some moderately rocky sections. Many different loops are possible here and most of the singletrack (what there is) is accessible from Manzanita.

Probably rode this more than any other (since High School in the 80's). A classic climb that is challenging to newcomers, familiar to locals.
