Description

Park at the end of Martz Road on either side of the parking lot. The entrance to the trail is on the left side when coming into the parking lot from Martz Rd.

Stay left at the first fork which occurs shortly after getting onto the trail from the parking lot. Once you get down to the flat, there will be a hard left-hand turn to get to the portion of the trail which will take you to the far side of the lake. The turn is close to the water.

Take the trail all the way to the water. The view from this side of the lake is best in the fall when the leaves are changing and no one is on the water. Be ready for roots, some flow, and some rocks. While there are a few small obstacles, this trail is fairly easy, and friendly even for beginners.
