This trail connects the Russel Road parking area of the ASRA, to the confluence area trails.”

Family Friendly: Easy grade is great for kids.
This trail is the former wagon road connecting Auburn to the confluence. The primary use of this trail for mountain bikers is to connect the Auburn State Recreation Area parking lot located on Russell Road to other trails that are located in the area, though it can be begun from either end. Depending on the connecting trails, this trail can be mixed into a larger ride.
Mainly, this trail connects the upper parking lot to the trail system in the confluence area. There are several short trails that branch off from this trail that be be connected to vary the ride. The grade of the trail is moderate, expect for the lowest 1/4 mile which is steeper. There are several vista points along the way where benches can be found.
