Overview

Description

A beginner friendly fire road on rolling hills next to the Middle Fork of the American River. Popular for hikers, runners and horseback riders as well. The hills are all short and sweet. On dam release days, you can watch whitewater rafters below. While the full trail to Maine Bar is a little over 5 miles each way, as an out-and-back ride you can turn around wherever you like.
