It's a bummer this trail isn't open regularly. The relatively short singletrack trail twists and turns up a ridge next to Bommer Canyon. The narrow dirt trail has some tight and short switchbacks that are fun to ride down. Towards the ridge summit, the trail requires you to choose between a rock and a hard place. If you're climbing the ridge it simply splits with no explanation (left is the easier option but you still may need to dismount for a second) for a very short section over a steep rocky area. When it's open, sign up and go early. It becomes more crowded with lots of hikers and bikers traversing the singletrack the later in the day it gets.
