Description

This trail works great in either direction.

At the trail junction just past the trailhead stay left, put your bike in the small chainring, and start climbing. Along the way there are some rock water bars lower down and a small ditch to cross. Keep climbing and dodge the scattered rocks in the trail.

At the top of the climb there will be series of creek crossings, all of which can be ridden although they are challenging in high water. Keep contouring through the creeks up to the ATV trail. Head straight across and then get ready for some fast sweeping turns through the pines. Drop into a great hollow for more fun descending to the junction with Lower Hayes Creek and Coyote Coulee Connector links the Hayes Creek and Brown Jug loops.
