Trail shared by Dave Gregg

A murderously steep ascent up a red-colored, rock-surfaced monster of a hill. Can you do it?

Description

There will be no mistaking which way to go, just look for the insanely steep trail up a very red hill. This ascent is completely out of place compared to the rest of this easy ride. Big Red will kill you.

At the top of Big Red is a trail split. A short, extra credit climb up the ridge on a singletrack to the left, which then descends through a series of intermediate downhill turns to join Ridge View Trail, or turn right to begin Ridge View Trail.
