Description

Start up Roadrunner Loop, which will spit you out onto Chutes. Take Chutes up, do not confuse it with Chutes Ridgeline, which is the main DH attraction here. At the top of Chutes, bear right onto Barham Ridge, and go just a little ways to where Cactus Canyon picks up. Cactus Canyon is a fun, fast, flowy downhill so be ready for some berms and speed!

From the bottom of Cactus Canyon, pick up Bumble Bee heading straight through. Expect some more climbing and switchbacks here. You'll reach a lookout point after a while - a good spot to stop and have a snack. There are also some cool features here to practice drops/rolls etc. From there, you continue on down Bumble Bee and pick up Oak Trail heading to the right at the bottom of the hill.

From Oak Trail, you climb up a ways to Edition Ridge. Bear right at the top of the hill before the gate. From here, you can access Yucca Ridge and Coachwhip. Take Yucca Ridge down for a fun and slightly technical downhill run. You'll be dumped out where you were before, at the base of Cactus Canyon and Bumble Bee. Here you can make as many loops as you want back up to Yucca Ridge.

When you're done, head the other way on Bumble Bee at the base of Cactus Canyon. This will take you back up to Barham Ridge. Be warned, you'll definitely have some hike-a-bike to do, unless you are a legendary climber. The top of Barham Ridge will drop you at the entrance to Chutes Ridgeline. This is a black-diamond trail. There are some steep descents, and a few optional jumps if you're into that kind of thing! Carve your way down the ridgeline, and you'll end up back on Roadrunner Loop where you started. Backtrack your way to where you parked and have a cold one.
