Description

From Skyline Dr - fire road, head downhill toward Turnbull Canyon Rd, looking left 50 yards before the cattle gate for a singletrack shortcut that drops to the street. This is the start of the Escalator. After carefully crossing the street, find the downhill cut between trees and descend this short 1/2 mile switchback connector.

It's common to ride this trail in both directions, so be heads-up for other riders! At the end, continue downhill on the Freeway, or turn right and head uphill to climb Rattlesnake.
