Description

This is a great ride that not many people know about. Typically riders will have the place to themselves.

After passing through the locked gate follow the signs marked "Los Angeles County Trail", which parallel the road. At the end of a short steep climb the nicety ends and the more difficult portion of Johnson's begins. Johnson's climb provides some fun technical riding that might remind some of Moab.

At the end of the trail is the Rocky Peak fire road. Here you can combine this trail with either Chumash or Hummingbird and make it into a shuttle run or head back the way you came.
