Description

The Johnson Ranch Loop trail meanders through rolling grassy hills and oak trees. Great as a warmup loop before heading over to Irish Hills via the Johnson Ranch Connector or as a beginner's practice loop. Several easy switchbacks are found throughout the loop along with a couple of bridges on the Eastern half as the trail climbs a creek bed. It's just enough to be fun and nothing is notably tricky.

Note: This trail is very popular with hikers and trail runners, be careful and courteous.

Johnson Ranch loop is a great trail, lots of flow, especially compared to Irish Hill which are much rockier.
