This trail begins at the round-a-bout on San Ildefonso St. From there it descends east on fast singltrack for about a mile until it begins to drop into the canyon. At this point it becomes steep and technical rock with some exposure until the bottom of the canyon.

At the bottom of the canyon, the trail becomes more level and flowy, then crosses over the dirt road and continues for a while on the opposite side before finally rejoining the dirt road. The dirt road will eventually take you to the highway after several miles.
