Here's a new trail to explore. It's a 1.6 mile loop on Mt. Rachel near Park St. The trailhead has bathroom facilities with electricity and running water. A couple of picnic shelters as well.
The trail is wide enough for five bikes riding side by side, so suitable for group runs.
You'll start at Park Street entrance and head counter-clockwise on the trail loop. After about a mile, you'll start climbing to top of Mount Rachel. From here, you'll see water towers and view of Dalton. There are a couple of sharp switchbacks on the descent, so control your speed.
