Getting forecast...

A short climb with a nice loop at the top. A few tricky spots but otherwise not technical.

Jayson Goldinger

Overview

Fairly busy with pedestrian/hiker traffic on weekends; best ridden during non-peak times.

Description

Spruce Mountain has a short climb up with a nice loop at the top. You'll find a few rocks and switchbacks to navigate but otherwise it's not a technical ride. Up top it has some nice views below that are worth stopping at to take a look.

This is a short ride so if you are looking for something longer you can link it up with the Spruce Meadow Trail to double your ride.

Beautiful well maintained trail in the shade! Difficulty 3/10 Blue-Green. Hardpack / sticky sand. Great views. Fast relaxed downhill at the end. 6mi — 3h 00m
