A great varied loop that can be cut short to connect Matt's Loop: East and Fattie's Delight.

Description

If coming out of Fattie's Delight, this trail is a welcome break from the thigh-burn after slogging through deep sand. This is largely the sandy hardpack interspersed with loose rock and gravel - typical of the area.

Either direction you go will be downhill from the start and a climb back up from Matt's Loop: East. If only we were all solar-powered like the lagarto!

Looking north from the north end of Largarto, not too far from where the turn down to Fattie's Delight begins. Note Locomotive Rock in the distance, center right, just right of where the trail disappears in the photo.
