Overview
This trail has lots of variety. You'll get plenty of time to pedal with a total distance of 20 miles. You get two runs down
Ladera Ridge Trail (
Rage Trail). You get views while riding on the top of Ladera Ridge. Then, you get to fly down the rage with easy pedals before and after.
Description
Park at Cox Sports Park off Crown Valley where there is plenty of parking and a dirt path runs along the canyon side of the parking lot. There is a playground with bathrooms and water here.
It starts with a nice pedal and some time to warm-up while riding along the dirt path. Then, you get to the end of the path and climb along the road up to Antonio. Turn left on Antonio and about 200 yards later you'll see your drop-in point. You drop in and get a boost of adrenaline with some berms. Take a sharp right and pedal back towards Antonio. You'll pedal under Antonio and end up on the other side. Continue on Antonio and right on Oso.
After a moderate climb, you'll see your trail on the right. There is a short, steep climb, then you'll be rewarded with a beautiful singletrack trail along the top of the ridge with views off both sides. Then, you ride the
Rage Trail which is a challenge (sometimes steep) singletrack trail that will get you excited.
After riding the
Rage Trail once, you'll want to do it again so let's make it a loop. After completing the
Rage for a second time, we will return back the way we came.
