“This easy trail has just enough going on to be fun for everyone.
”
Family Friendly
Easy enough for an average 6 year-old on two wheels, or an adult that's just getting back into cycling, yet fun for companions who've been riding for a while.
Description
This little trail is perfect for beginners and kids to have a little challenge on. There are a couple of short climbs rewarded with some really fun downhills. It's nothing too steep going down, but enough that you can get pedaling and build up some speed!
The Red Trail is labeled clearly, with a combination of red reflectors on trees, red paint on trees, or a white stick about 4' high with the top 8" painted red. This trail has the more interesting features—a couple of rooted options you can ride over, some rock ledges you can practice dropping off (6"-8"), climbs with a couple of different approaches (going up a root vs the smooth side) etc, as opposed to the Blue Trail. The Blue Trail is flatter.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
Very steep. Technical terrain with no alternate lines.
