Family Friendly Short, kid friendly singletrack loop.

If arriving by vehicle, park at the main Valley View parking lot and only enter the trail from the trailhead. The trail open times follow the park open times.

Description

This is a training singletrack trail for high school students and the public as a whole. Easy to intermediate difficulty. Bridges, boardwalks, and a rock garden exist on the trail.

With over 300' of climbing, there are challenging descents and shorter punchy climbs with three switchbacks per loop. Trees create a tight, twisty singletrack experience with openings into prairie sections of tall grasses and general open field meadows.

A good variety of trailtypes packed into a short loop, kicked my butt in high 90's F degree weather. 4mi — 1h 00m

A few mid spots from last nights rain, but still definitely rideable. If you're a regular in this trail you already know where the wet spots are.
