Overview
All River Bottoms trails are two-way and multi-use trails. This map is from the very eastern end of the Bloomington side to the Lyndale parking lot (trailhead).
Very flat and mostly open site lines so watch your speed and keep an eye out for walkers and runners and other riders. Some neat spots to stop and look at the river, but don't stop to long...the sketters (mosquitos) will find you eventually.
Need to Know
During the summer, there is a rope raft across Nine Mile Creek that you need to cross to get all the way to Bloomington Ferry bridge lot. Winter time the creek is frozen.
Description
It starts out with a gravel fire road and transitions to dirt a mile or so in. The dirt track takes you all the way to Lyndale and you can continue on to Bloomington Ferry Bridge trailhead, another seven miles or so. There you'll have to turn around as the trail ends at private land. Enjoy the many views and watch out for other trail users.
