The Pinnacle Trail is a longer continuation of the other Lakeside Trails, and features similar technical features. After coming uphill from the Lakeside to Pinnacle Connector tunnel, the trail continues to your right. The trail contains some tight, twisting singletrack. After your come to the Pinnacle Trailhead parking area, which is only open during races, you'll be greeted by steep, rocky climbs and technical, rocky descents. Once you get past what locals call Mayan Pyramid, the trail opens out to become more of a flow trail. You'll know when you are almost back to the connector when the trail gets very close to some houses.
