Overview

The Old School loop is the longest ride that the first AM used to do in these mountains. Today there are longer routes but we still have respect for this ride.

Description

The ride starts at El Trigo after that you connect it to the 2500 Descent. When finishing the descent, instead of making the return on Regreso El Hatillo, you make a right to Casa Quemada for a really fun descent.

After this descent, you'll be pedaling on a flat road for about 3.7 mi (6 km) on Road to Carpintero. When finishing the route, you'll take a left to the famous La Chrono, a long, steep climb of 5.5 km. Save your legs for this one.
