Overview

This ride provides nice views of the Diablo Valley from Mt Diablo out to the Delta.

Description

Head out along these old ranch roads as they criss-cross the open space, going north-south along Lime Ridge. This ride follows two of the longer trails in a loop around the ridge.

Starting from the Ygnacio Valley Road trailhead, head south on the Ohlone Trail as it parallels the road. Stay on Ohlone or the parallel section of Buckeye Trail to the Boundary Oak Golf Course where the Paraiso Trail provides a connection to the Crystyl Ranch Trail, which runs north along the eastern boundary of the open space. Pass through the Crystyl Ranch neighborhood on S. Montecito Dr. to return to the trailhead.
