Description

There are several switchbacks, steep aggressive climbs, and numerous rock gardens to be found on this trail. This trail is above the high water mark so it rides along the outer rim of the shore line trails.

As with most of the difficult trails in the area, speed is not your number one goal. The obstacles can take a toll and drain your energy. Bring plenty of water and snacks. Access this route from the South Trailhead or from the Twin Peaks Trail. During rain or in wet conditions the rocks can become slippery and make for a nasty fall, so avoid when necessary.
