Description

You can tag on this nice section of singletrack along the Iverson Railroad Trail at the beginning or end of the typical Tiger Mountain Loop. The western access point for the trail is off of West Side Road. From the upper parking lot (Discover Pass required), ride past the gate approximately 1.5 miles west on the gravel road and look for the trailhead on the right.

The narrow trail climbs initially, borders a small clearing, and then dips back into the forest contouring the hillside. There are a few technical segments with roots, some short drops to challenge you along the way, and a nice downhill run at the eastern end. When you reach the east junction, you can return to the parking lot or continue on the short connector to hook up with Main Tiger Mountain Road.
