Description

Ambush is one of many options in the Canyons resort area. The route has a steady grade from top to bottom and can be linked with Mid Mountain Trail, via the Mid Mountain Connector, or Rob's.

The trail generally traverses the north face of Apex ridge, crossing all of the ski runs on the north end of the resort. You'll ride mostly in the pines, but the trail does bust out into the open as it crosses under the Super Condor Express chairlift, to the south facing side of the ridge near the end of the trail.

As an option, hang a right turn at Short Swing (.9m mark), which crosses over the to south facing side of the ridge to the Sun Peak Lodge, where you can pick up the more technical lower half of Holly's.
