Description

This is an official mountain bike trail in a park maintained by the city of Ann Arbor. This park used to be an old gravel quarry. It's mostly beginner and intermediate level riding with some areas leaning towards high-end intermediate.

Most of the trails are novice-friendly. A trail map is provided at the marked trailhead, including instructions for direction of travel on the trails. A see-saw and a couple technical areas offer a challenge, including a small rock garden and a loose-on-packed gravel ascent. There's a lot of scenic variety in this park, from wooded and wetlands to more meadow-like areas, as well as a gravelly climb up to the segment along the western edge.

True: lesser-used trails overgrown. Two muddy spots on main trail as always. The trail gets more technical every year as erosion exposes rocks & roots 6mi — 1h 00m
