Description

This is a 1.7 mile doubletrack trail that winds through a mature stand of White Oak trees. It has some short climbs and descents but mostly follows the contours on the hill sides.

On the Porterfield Hollow trail continue straight ahead at the four way intersection instead of turning left. Descend a dirt road on the right side of the hardwoods to a large upright rock. This is RossHenge which may have been the site of prehistoric rituals. The road continues down the hill to English Creek, but take a doubletrack trail to the left at Rosshenge and follow this trail to where it intersects with the dirt logging road.

Turn right on the logging road to return to the head of Sugar Camp Hollow where you can continue down the singletrack to the waterfall stay on the logging road. This section of the logging road has very rough and loose crushed limestone gravel that is difficult to ride on and requires caution.
