Overview

Addison Oaks is a scenic 1,140-acre park in northeast Oakland County with two lakes and spring-fed ponds containing fast, flowing, fun mountain bike trails. Located next to Bald Mountain Recreation Area.

Description

The bike trails are substantially updated and maintained by Pauly from Oakland County Parks and CRAMBA volunteers. This trail is a nice flowing one with lots of speed and some nice climbs to get your heart going. Because of its climbs it may be one of the fastest trail in southeast Michigan. It is also know for its bridges that cross many springs and lowland areas.

This trail drains really well after a hard rain and can be ridden right after a rain with no damage to the trail.

The trail is also home to the CRAMBA chapter benefit races in the fall. Also it has become part of a new Massive group ride (massivefallout.org) held every by fall by CRAMBA that covers all four of the trails in the Rochester area. (Addison Oaks, Bald Mountain Rec, Stony Creek, and Bloomer)

Addison is one of the best kept secrets in Southeast Michigan.
