The Inner Loop, Outer Loop, and the Out & Back are collectively the "Foote Road Trails." This county land is administered by the Erie County Dept. of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry. It's technically not part of Sprague Brook Park, but rather part of its forestry holdings.

All the Foote Road trails are accessed from a connector from the XC Ski Loop, crossing Foote Road. Be sure to look both ways for traffic.

The inner loop is accessed by going straight at the 4-way intersection reached by the connector. The trail crosses a small bridge and then loops around to the left with nice open views of the deciduous forest. It climbs and loops along the top of a small drainage before heading south to some Spruce where it merges with the Outer Loop. Go left and soon you'll see the fork for the Out & Back, but stay left for Inner Loop. This section then follows an old field edge, long since overgrown until it crosses an old farmer's rock pile and then ending at the 4-way intersection.
