You are heading right at the start. Going left will take you down the Waimea fire road which drops steeply at the end (it might be doable but you would want size it up very carefully first).

Description

This route is commonly combined with Side Hill to make a loop through Los Peñasquitos Canyon. Expect ruts and rocks and a different experience after each rain storm. Watch Matty J descend Hopper and Little Waimea.
