Overview

This is a fun all-up, all-down ride that can be shortened to just over four miles by skipping the upper out-and-back section on Meadow Knob #428. The uphill is bearable and the downhill is why you came back!

Description

Park at the pull-off at the base of the trail Mud Pond Gap #544 or drive further up to a larger parking area.

The singletrack climb on Blueberry #544A is easy to follow. When you're almost at the "pond," you'll ride through a small meadow. The trail can fade a bit but just keep on straight and you'll find the trail on the other side.

Once at the pond, you can continue to the top of the ridge on Meadow Knob #428 or take a left and head for the downhill on Mud Pond Gap #544.
